Who is the Fury...?
The team is comprised of 15 girls, 2 coaches, 2 managers, 2 treasurers, and a bunch of super supportive parents. Our players are primarily from North Texas in the Midlothian and Red Oak areas, with strong skill sets and great teamwork play. We even have sponsors to help us on our journey to make sure our players have resources to receive the best possible experiences while playing with the Fury.
Our great coaches have strong commitments to helping the players grow and learn more about competitive soccer play. Our philosophy is a bit unique in that we are focused on the players as individuals, with the primary focus being on player development rather than team statistics. We focus on each individual player and development of each players skills. Then taking those skills and teaching all our players how to work as a team during game play.
All of our players receive the same amount of game play. We believe in rewarding the effort each player gives. We encourage our players to learn and focus more on developing their skills, rather than the outcome of the game. The results of this philosopy and training will be strong individuals, an even stronger team, and a truly exciting and challenging experience for all. Our hopes are that all the girls enjoy and have fun with the game, and their part in it.   |
